A modified picture
Based on the model of the periodontal host response to the plaque biofilm,developed by Kenneth Miyasaki, in the late 1970s, shortly after the release of the first Star Wars movie.
Note the division of the areas of the host response into two "battlefields", namely the periodontal pocket and the tissue, and the central role of mechanical removal of these plaque biofilms in the lower left corner (The Force).

Basado en el modelo de la respuesta periodontal del hospedero hacia la placa bacteriana, desarrollado por Kenneth Miyasaki, en 1970 inmediatamente despues del estreno del film Star Wars o la Guerra de las Galaxias.
Note la división de dos campos de batalla correspondientes al saco periodontal, tejidos y el rol central de la remosión mecánica de la placa bacteriana en el ángulo inferior izquierdo llamado "La Fuerza".

Basada no modelo de resposta do hospedeiro ao biofilme, desenvolvida por Kenneth Miyasaki, no final de 1970, logo após o lançamento do primeiro filme Star Wars.
Note-se a divisão das áreas de resposta do hospedeiro em duas "batalhas", ou seja, o bolso eo tecido periodontal. Note-se como o papel central da remoção mecânica do biofilme no canto inferior esquerdo (A Força).
